  • February 20, 2017 --- Christo Dichev and Darina Dicheva’s paper ‘Gamifying education: what is known, what is believed and what remains uncertain: a critical review’ is published in the Int. J. of Educational Technology in Higher Education.
  • June 10, 2016 --- Our Gamification Proposal, was funded by the NSF's HBCU-UP Program. Congratulations!

  • June 24, 2008 --- The Sixth International Workshop on Applications of Semantic Web Technologies for E-Learning ( SWEL'08) took place in conjunction with the 9th International Conference on Intelligent Tutoring Systems, Montreal, Canada, June 23-27, 2008.
  • June 23, 2008 --- Darina Dicheva (WSSU) and Vania Dimitrova (University of Leeds, UK) presented a full-day tutorial on Semantic Web and Intelligent Learning Environments at the 20th Int'l Conference on Intelligent Tutoring Systems in Monreal, Canada, July 23, 2008. ITS is a premium conference in the advanced learning technology field.
  • May 19, 2008 --- Adam Williams(sophomore) and Denita Snow (junior) will be with us this summer as interns supported by the 2008 Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) Program in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). WELCOME guys!!!
